ECG with Biventricular Pacing

Image 2 of 2 in Series "Biventricular Pacing"

Description

Atrial pacing at a rate of 70/msec, an AV delay of 100 msec and ventricular pacing with complete capture are present. Due to the simultaneous pacing of the ventricles, a shortening of the QRS duration to approximately 120 msec has occurred and a right bundle branch morphology is noted.

ECG prior to Biventricular Pacing

by: Joe B. Calkins, Jr., M.D.

Atrial pacing at a rate of 72/min is present. There is a delay of approximately 340 msec between the atrial stimulus artifact and the onset of the native QRS complexes. Left bundle branch block with a QRS duration of approximately 140 msec is present. A single premature ventricular complex is present.
