Purple urinary bag syndrome

Description

65 years old male presented with history of cerebrovascular accident and immobilization related hypercalcemia presented with chronic constipation. Patient was catheterised for urinary retention. Patient presented to ED with caregiver complaining of change in color urine but no symptoms suggestive of Urinary tract infection. A diagnosis of purple urinary bag syndrome was made in view of definite history.
