Pain of Pericarditis

Description

A 48 year old male presented with chest pain radiating to jaw. The pain was worse when lying down and was relieved by sitting upright. The ECG shows sinus tachycardia with diffuse concave ST segments elevation in all leads except aVR, aVL and V1, PR segment depression and low voltage complexes. These findings are consistent with acute pericarditis. The diagnosis was confirmed with cardiac biomarkers and echocardiography.
