Sinus Bradycardia

Description

ECG from the same patient shows sinus bradycardia at a rate of 55/min. Distinct P waves preceding each QRS complex and r’ waves at the end of the QRS complexes are visible in lead V1. Additional findings are a probable old inferior infarct and left axis deviation.

Atrioventricular nodal reentrant tachycardia (AVNRT) at a rate of 187/min is present. Retrograde P waves are seen in lead V1, immediately following the r’ waves. Additional findings are old anteroseptal and inferior infarcts and rate dependent ST segment depression in leads V3-6 and ST elevation in lead aVR.
