The Sine Wave of Hyperkalemia

Description

A 25 year old male presented with complaints of decreased urine output and swelling of both legs. Serum potassium was 7. ECG shows the typical sine wave pattern of hyperkalemia, with fusion of the widened QRS complexes and the T waves. The patient was treated for hyperkalemia and dialysis was performed.
